I am not shocked about Katherine's actions that she has displayed at the end in the play "Taming of the Shrew". I think this because in Act 4 Scene 5 Katherine starts to change (of course realizing, that she needs to agree, to get what she wants like going to her father’s house) by saying “And be it moon, or sun, or what you please” to Petruchio. Also, I think that Katherine in Act 5 Scene 2 want to prove herself (as a womanly person and a very obedient person) to the widow who was making fun of her, especially around line 30 where the widow was calling her nasty or really mean. Therefore I don't feel any shock or change when I saw Katherine acting the way she did at the wedding.
